CLIENT EXECUTIVES (2 POSITIONS)

Key Responsibilities

(a) Sales & Business Development

  • Drive new business acquisition through direct sales, cold calls, referrals, and networking
  • Develop and deliver insurance product presentations to individuals, corporates, and institutions
  • Support bancassurance, broker, and Micro Finance Institutions partnerships to grow the company’s retail and institutional business

(b) Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main contact point for assigned clients (Direct clients and brokers), ensuring timely service
  • Maintain and grow existing client portfolios by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Provide after-sales support, resolving client queries, claims, and complaints promptly
  • Conduct client visits, reviews, and engagement activities to enhance loyalty

(c) Market Intelligence & Support

  • Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer needs
  • Provide insights to support product development and marketing campaigns
  • Participate in promotional activities, roadshows, and corporate events to boost brand visibility

(d) Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to all company and regulatory requirements. (Onboarding requirements) Key fact, proposal forms KYC etc
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and client portfolio status

REQUIRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter, motivated and result driven individual
  • Analytical logical thinker with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on a wide range of deliverables at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to plan and organise in line with job requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A first university degree in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any of the Social Sciences from a reputable and recognized university
  • A good understanding of general insurance business will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Sales, Business Development and Client Relationship Management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least four (4) years’ experience in a related field
